Join us at Product Expo from 3:00pm– 4:15pm as we look at some of the significant changes that can be found in the 2021 International Residential Code and the 2023 National Electric Code. These two code books are bringing about many red tags during inspections and many don’t understand why. Bring something to take lots of notes with and let’s figure out why we can’t use 6 mil poly under our slabs anymore. Or, maybe we can try and decipher the new rules that apply to tempered glass in windows. But rest assured, we will definitely look at the new rules for GFCI’s and why electrical outlets on the side of an island is a sure way to earn one of those red tags. Code books – whether building new homes or remodeling one, we always need to keep up with the rules.

This class will be held in a separate classroom across the hall from the  Product Expo exhibit area.
Please note, that in observance of the long standing Product Expo guidelines, entrance into the Product Expo exhibit hall is reserved for builders and remodelers only.  Associates can attend the Codes seminar in the classroom, but can not enter the Expo area, unless you are an exhibitor with a booth in the Expo.
