Office assistant

An office assistant embodies the values and culture of our company. If you have a friendly and productive attitude, we need you to answer and field calls to the right individuals within the company and maintain the office calendar, greet visitors and help manage schedules.  Your position will provide you with an abundance of experience as our company is going through some growth that's likely to continue for the next several years. Job Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls in a pleasant and professional manner, directing callers as needed.
  • Perform light bookkeeping (payment tracking and customer invoicing) coordinating with accounting to ensure accuracy and that all tax responsibilities are met.
  • Offer administrative and clerical support and manage daily administrative activities.
  • Meet and greet guests and walk-ins with a smile and friendly disposition, answering questions or directing them to the proper individual.
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing deliveries, including signing for them, calling for pickup, confirming delivery and making sure recipients receive their packages.
  • Help maintain the appearance of the office / showroom.
  • Create purchase orders for installers.
  • Update web site info, pictures, and products.
  • Post pictures of our installation to social media and our google site.
  • Learn how to do bill of ladings for outgoing shipments.
  • Call customers to schedule or confirm installations.
  • Learn as much as possible about our products and services so you can familize yourself with our products and services.


Job Skills & Qualifications

Requirements

High school diploma or its equivalent.

Professional appearance.
At least one year of experience as an office assistant.

Current knowledge of Microsoft Office word, excel, outlook, power point, must be computer literate, QuickBooks knowledge is a plus but not a requirement.
Excellent writing, proofreading and grammar skills.

Able to easily lift, push, or pull at least 25 pounds.

Be a team player and can work in a fast paced & small office environment.

Have reliable transportation, able to attend work every day, and on time and work on Saturday’s, your off days would be Sunday and Wednesday. Over-time is a possibility if your willing to work extra.

Be fast learner, learn and retain product knowledge.


Starting pay is $18/HR to start.
