This is a pre-recorded webinar on Geotechnical Considerations for Design of Land Development Projects presented by  Mr. David A. Eastwood, P.E., D.GE, DFE, C.A.P.M., F.FPA, F.ASCE with Geotech Engineering and Testing.
Mr. Eastwood will help you understand the basics of environmental and geotechnical engineering as it relates to mass grading, pavements, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, waterlines, lift stations, elevated water tanks, detention pond, recreational lakes, small bridges, residential foundations, etc.  There will be discussion about how to obtain a 79g Letter. Furthermore, Mr. Eastwood will discuss certification package for Harris County, Fort Bend County and Montgomery County.
He will also discuss Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Studies including, wetlands, subsidence, faulting, etc. In addition, he will discuss geotechnical field studies including site conditions, drilling equipment, sampling, groundwater, laboratory testing, underground utilities, proofrolling, burn pits, compaction, perched water table, etc.  He will also cover subgrade stabilization, such as lime and lime-fly ash stabilization. He will also discuss dewatering techniques, wood organics removal, pad building, concrete placement and properties, etc.
